Barista Position Overview

We are looking for friendly, faith-filled individuals who are passionate about serving others. As a Thrive barista, you’ll create a warm, welcoming experience while preparing food and beverages. You’ll also be part of a team that values prayer, community, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Serve customers with joy, professionalism, and care
Represent Christ through your attitude, words, and actions
Engage guests in conversation, prayer, and encouragement when appropriate
Help prepare meals for events and serve as Cafe Lead at least two Sundays a month
Be committed to personal spiritual growth and Thrive’s church community

Qualifications

Excellent communication and people skills
Friendly, service-minded, and dependable
Organized and proactive
Must be punctual and consistent in attendance
Able to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
Prior café or customer service experience is a plus
Must have or obtain a valid food handler’s certification
High school diploma or GED preferred
Familiarity with point-of-sale and basic kitchen equipment

Job Details

Starting Pay: $12.50/hr
Hours: 25–35 hours per week
